The Swedish Agency for the Media

The Swedish Agency for the Media works to promote freedom of expression and diversity in the media market, where multiple voices are heard and consumers have access to a wide and accessible range of radio, television and news media.

We are also responsible for promoting the empowerment of minors as conscious media users and protecting them from harmful media influences. In addition, the agency coordinates national efforts for strengthening media and information literacy across the general population.
